This is the first review I ever wrote about anybody! I originally engaged Brian to help me organize my finances and offer me advice on a plan for my upcoming retirement. He did such an excellent job with that; I decided to ask him to do my taxes. I never used a professional accountant before, but this year I found it necessary because I had problems with the IRS and how my employer recorded my HSA contributions in 2016 and 2017. Long story short; my employer was making a mistake in one of the boxes in my W2. The IRS sent me threatening notices for the last two years saying that I owed them penalties and interest because of it. It was a frustrating experience and a big waste of time to resolve the situations, but they were, and I didn’t have to pay anything. Brian picked up the mistake right away and immediately contacted me. I forwarded his questions via email to my employer and blind copied him. My employer still did not understand what was going on until Brian stepped in to help. He sent professional questions directly to the person that disputed my situation. He wrote two emails, one at midnight and one at 6 AM the next morning. Seriously; Who Does That! He's a good guy and I highly recommend him.
