I had first used the services of Mr. Mehta five years ago. At the time, I was completely unaware of the tax code, regulations, and laws that impacted me. I met with him for an initial consultation. He listened to my current situation and thoroughly explained what types of taxes I would need to pay, deductions I could be eligible for, what forms I would need to complete, the benefits of the standard deduction versus an itemized deduction, and ways to reduce my tax liability which I had no knowledge of. He was extremely patient in answering my questions and showed a great understanding of current tax laws. Mr. Mehta went on to explain his tax preparation services to me and I decided to move forward with his services. From our first meeting, to submitting and receiving my tax return, Mr. Mehta was with me every step of the way. He clearly explained to me which documents I would need to submit to file my return, the various components of my tax return, what I was eligible for, and how we arrived at the final numbers for both my federal and state taxes. He always made himself available to answer my questions. At the time, the major components to my tax return consisted of my job and student loan interest. However, over time as I accumulated various assets and began business ventures, Mr. Mehta has helped me understand which laws applied to me and which could work to my advantage. From taxes on stocks and retirement funds, and deductions on student loan interest and workplace expenses, to corporation and property taxes and deductions, there has never been a question which Mr. Mehta has not been able to answer. Parth has been helping me with my Tax Returns for nearly 5 years and I'm always impressed with his thorough attention to detail and prompt response to my inquiries.
