I am a French National and work in my own small business as a Chef. In years past, I paid the IRS what the CPA preparing my taxes said I owed. Then IRS notices started appearing saying I owed the IRS money. Robert took the time to figure the issue out for me and found that it was not an income tax issue, but had to do with a W-2 issue from fifteen years prior. I will be forever thankful to Robert for his help.

My mother had bought some mutual funds for me when I was a little girl. Now I am in my 30's and I sold the investment to help buy my first house. I never thought anything about it until I got a letter from the IRS telling me I owed them a lot of money. Scared and not knowing what to do, I paid the IRS what they said I owed them. The following year I took my current taxes to Robert for him to handle. In reviewing the prior years return, he asked my about the sale of the mutual funds. Through my mother I was able to find when they were initially purchased and at what price. Come to find out the IRS calculated what I owed them based on an original price of -0-, causing my gain to be huge, when in fact, it was very small. Without Robert I would never have found this error and would have paid the IRS in excess of what I owed them.
